    tight socks

    I am an older 86 ultra walker. I've done 80 miles in 37 hours. It is essential to take care of my feet. My # 2 toe crosses over the big toe. I use toe separators to keep my feet as close to flat as I can. The ultra light's tight fit is a big help. I wear them inside out to get the smoothest material against my feet. Perfect sock for my use.

    These are my go-to best hiking sock. I like more than a liner, but not too thick. These are perfect. I hike a lot. For snow season I buy similar weight but higher.

    One sock had two faults. One lump at the big toe seam and one lump at the left side heel. They were raised sections, not smooth. Don't know what to call it but they were bothersome. As tight as the sock fit, these spots didn't smooth out. Obvious defects. Poor quality control.
