Point6 is excited to participate in the 2nd Annual Pedal the Plains Bicycle Tour for the consecutive year.
Scheduled for Sept. 20 – 22, 2013, PTP is a three day ride averaging 50 to 80 miles per day. Seasoned cyclists can also partake in a challenging Century Ride, while families can enjoy a mellow loop ride for novices. Point will be there to show its support by providing its performance merino wool cycling socks for sponsors and volunteers, and will be there all weekend cheering on participants.
Whether logging miles on the road, cyclocross racing or tackling challenging singletrack in the backcountry, all Point6 cycling socks are engineered with minimal-to-no cushioning for a performance fit and maximum comfort during long rides.Merino is proven as an excellent performer for cyclists in any climate thanks to the natural temperature stabilizing properties of wool, and we hope our cycling socks will help enhance the experience for everyone at the event.
Proudly made in the USA, Point6 exclusively uses 100-percent compact spun merino yarns and the highest quality merino wool, combined with advanced knitting and sock construction techniques, for products of the utmost quality, comfort and durability.
Proceeds from Pedal The Plains benefit The Denver Post Community Foundation in support of Future Farmers of America and 4H. Additional funds raised will be returned directly to the Eastern Plains of Colorado. Details on the route and schedules are available online at http://www.pedaltheplains.com.
