    These are very tight in the calf!

    These would be perfect if the calf wasn’t so tight. It doesn’t feel great and leaves deep marks.

    Need New brand

    I was on the lookout for new socks that had a heavy cushion sole to replace the EMS socks I had used to buy for their quality and price. It was difficult to find a replacement that met the quality and price of EMS heavy cushion expedition socks. I finally found a company, Point6, and I purchased a few pairs to give them a try. I was very surprised by the quality, fit, and cost of their Core Extra Heavy Crew Socks. After a few weeks of testing, I bought 45 more pairs with a great 25% off coupon. I made the purchase before the price increases at the end of 2025. I shouldn’t need new socks for a few years now!

    Love the socks great wearing them when I play sports.

    Runs a little big

    Went with the sizing chart going Large but its kinda big. Tried to put my boots on and they bunched up and I could pull them all the way up to my knee.

    Have been washed a few times already and they have held up so far. I work construction so I need durable and comfy socks. They are comfy but I can not speak on durability yet.

    I wear 9.5 in sneakers, so size L per chart.

    Usable still I guess. Seems good quality, just wish they fit a little better. Need to try a size down to get a feel if really like them, but I have many other brands of wool socks at the moment so I can not justify repurchasing them at the moment.
