Luis is a Father and a Husband first and foremost. He helps to run a smaller bicycle company known as Poseidon Bike in Southern California but his life in cycling started years before that in his role as a fixed gear cycling event Series Director. He created underground racing first under the name OCBrakeless but then elevated it with the SoCal Fixed Series. His racing series brought people in not only from across the country, but from other countries as well! The SoCal Fixed Series was even featured on ESPN a few years back which was one of the highlights for Luis. His relationship with Poseidon developed after being a sponsored rider for a year but then he got deeper involved with the company after they saw his knack for marketing and creating awareness about cycling products. Luis has since grown into the position he is currently in where he oversees the development of the company and their overall direction.
