Patty Duke : Founder & Design

Explain what your role at point6 is...
Creative Director. Create designs and colors for product. Work on design and consistency of the brand throughout all, sometimes referred to the "Brand Mom". Conceptualize with Peter our future direction and support him in the many hats he wears to make point6 run efficiently.

    Favorite point6 socks? Why?
I have to pick ONE? They all feel sooooo good! Well… The trekking tech for super comfort walking / hiking / feet up on the couch recovery sock. The tulip design in black or sky and the butterfly or rose micro as they just make me happy looking down at them. Snowflake and nautical stripe are regulars. Also loving the taller designs like dragonfly with skirts. Can't wait for edelweiss to be made in my size and love ski snow & ski stripe. Active medium cushion black for golf or now with fun micro designs I switch it up. Running extra light any color all day in the summer. You now know my sock drawer is full, well… drawers… And with the new designs we've come up with to show for fall 15, I just may need another drawer…

Favorite thing to do while wearing them?
    Walk Murphy, our black lab

Best vacation spot you have taken your point6 socks to? Or where would you like to take them in the world?
Heli skiing in the Canadian rockies as the one thing I did not have to worry about was my feet! I'd like to take the butterfly micro to Hawaii golfing… never been there…

    Favorite inspirational quote?
"As you think, so shall you be"

Favorite local spot to wear your point6 socks?
    Snowshoeing on Rabbit Ears Pass

When you leave the point6 office, what are you up to?
I can't answer this, Peter might read it!!!

If you could take your point6 socks anywhere in the world where would you go?
Muskoka for a walk in the woods with tall trees giving shade and green moss under foot

    Favorite bit of wool trivia…
They just never stink even if you are having to wear them day after day on a mountain climb. A necessity for good tent mates.
