    Not true to size.

    I ordered these as work socks as they were the only brand that had the mid calf size that was not Smartwool. I give these 3 stars for the calf length and speed of shipping. Unfortunately these are not true to size and run quite large. I am a size 11.5-12 and ordered the large based on other reviews stating they run big. The fit is very loose and there is a lot of excess material along the Achilles that does not stay in place and tends to bunch up. The foot bed is loose and I can feel my foot slipping around in the sock and I imagine it will become a blister concern when on steep and varied terrain. In addition, the sock is very soft on the outside but the looping on the inside has a bit of a rough texture. As stated in other reviews, it seems socks are becoming thinner and a full cushion sock is not as padded as they used to be. If the fit was more true to size and snug I would give them Five stars.

    Great for my Ariat boots

    Sizing it wrong. This sock runs too Large!

    I own over two dozen pairs of Point6 socks in numerous models. All are size Large. This Operator Heavy Mid-Calf is marked LARGE but it is over 2" longer than similar Point6 Trek Heavyweight pair I own in large. The footbed in the Operator is way too long and bunches up terribly in my boots. They are unwearable. Not great for a $30 pair of socks and I am apparently not the only one who has experienced this problem.

    I ordered a medium and the socks are bigger than a large mid weight sock I purchased in the same order. The packaging says the socks are medium but the socks are much larger. And do not fit.
