I’m a fairly high-mileage runner (1500+ miles/year), and I have been through a ton of $15-$17 merino running socks from Darn Tough and Icebreaker. I tried a few pairs of these based on the price and a recommendation I saw online. They suck for running. The way they are constructed is weird, they somehow have more “texture” than normal socks, I don’t really know how to explain it any better. They almost feel like the glove that you wear to clean fish. Tons of friction with even the slightest movement, which does not work at all for running. I just ran a very casual 8.7 miles and developed a good-sized blister near the ball of my right foot. I never get blisters, even on 20+ mile runs in high humidity. I am going to stick with the expensive brands, I guess they are worth it after all.

These are the best no show socks I’ve ever had. The fit is second to none and they are extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

These socks were smaller than indicated. I bought the correct size according to the chart but they’re small.

These are my favorite weight of socks. Very comfortable and moisture wicking. Never have sweaty feet. I had the ultra light no shoes, but needed to now to the ultra lights for shoe fit. Extra lights are great socks also, just made my shoe fit tighter to the additional cushioning. I have Point 6 ski socks and they are my favorite brand. Nothing but positive comments about this company and their high quality products.
