First off I realize it’s unlikely that you’ll find the same sock that fits various footwear. Achieve a good fit by sock thickness and an insert (odor eater, etc…) if necessary. That said I was searching for something close for several different types of footwear the I’m constantly wearing. I need a thick sock, but not a 0 degree hunting boot sock. I’ve purchased 3 different brands that claimed “thick”, and I was disappointed until I discovered Point 6 Operator. Also the Hiker or AKA Trekker is a very close second. Finally my search is over. I’ve worn them for 2 weeks to confirm. And just ordered 10 more pair.

Great for winter hiking and running. I just keep buying more.

Warm and extremely comfortable. I wish they had a longer leg length. After washing and drying they shrank quite a bit.

I should have listen to the other reviews. I wear a large in every sock I have ever worn and the sizing chart for these socks suggest a large. Well they are way to big and they bunch up when worn and cause discomfort. I'm sending the four pair I bought, back. I'm not sure if a medium will be OK, or they may be too tight. The quality of the socks are great. Just a big headache now having to deal with an exchange.

Point 6 knows how to do socks, and they do it well!!!! Definitely taking up a fair amount of real estate in the sock drawer.
