These socks are a good inch (or more) taller than any other crew socks. I haven't tested it, but I'm pretty sure they'd clear ski boots. There's just no reason for it, so it's annoying to have extra fabric bunched up. They're also pretty tight around the calves if you have mountain biker calves. I'm hoping this relaxes over time. The tightness and extra height also compound each other, making the socks somewhat uncomfortable on the legs in general. I'm not returning them though because I love the feel of the foot portion, which is just as great as Point6's other products. I ordered 4 pairs of crew socks, of three different designs, and they all fit like this. It's a trade-off that's acceptable since I already own the socks (and love the feel of Point6 in general), but will prevent me from ordering any more crew socks in the future.

I have kind of a sock fetish, so have tried a lot of brands. I don't have any that fit as well as these. They go on like a second skin, and are so smooth and free of seams. Looking forward to testing further.

So after testing these the last few weeks I have really fell in love with them. Next month I’m on a volunteer trip to Guatemala to build powerlines to remote village and these socks will be All I wear. I’m about to have to order more. I have worn these at work as a lineman and also on long search and rescue as a volunteer fire fighter and these socks have kept my feet cool and dry⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
