Point6 Partners With Steamboat Velo as the Official Sock of the Steamb

(Steamboat Springs, Colorado) September 2, 2020 - Point6 is proud to partner with Steamboat Velo as the official sock of the Steamboat Stage Race. The event, held September 5^th and 6^th will look a bit different this year with the elimination of the criterium, social distancing measures that follow city, state, and county guidelines, and a 175 participant cap. The event beneficiaries are Routt County Humane Society and Lift Up Routt County.

The event features two days of competition with a 20k time trial on Saturday and a 68 or 41m Road Race on Sunday. The road race includes 6.7 miles of dirt. The Steamboat Springs Stage Race was launched in 2009 and is run by Steamboat Velo, a grassroots racing program supporting athlete development in mountain, cyclocross, and road racing.

According to Corey Piscopo of Steamboat Velo, "a major theme for the 2020 Steamboat Springs Stage Race is community and that starts with our sponsor partners continued support of the Steamboat Velo cycling team and bike racing in the Yampa Valley. Point6 has rallied to support the team along with the 12th edition of our race, for which we are grateful!"

This is the 2^nd year that Point6 has sponsored the Steamboat Stage Race.
