Socks fit good. Good cushioning. Still like the discontinued regular life medium cushion better - more flex to them.

I am a career Firefighter/Paramedic and wear these socks every day on the job. They keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer, and are very durable. Made the mistake of wearing a pair of cotton socks to work the other day and instantly regretted not wearing a pair of my Point 6 hikers - wet, cold feet the entire shift. Buy these socks, they are marvelous!

My new favorite pair of socks for when it's cold out. I would go with lights if it's merely chilly (50 F and up) and ultra lights for summer weather. But for general "it's cold outside" use these are very versatile. You stay warm and dry, if you get too warm you don't get all gross and sweaty. Everyone knows with cotton socks the first drop of sweat that touches them never goes away and it's time to change your socks.
