I have to agree with Alex D. I have been buying these socks for years from Point 6 and they HAVE changed their density. I have 6 pairs of the older heavy crew and two pair are finally wearing down which is why I bought 3 more pair. I work many hours a week on my feet wearing boots and the older version never hurt my feet. I have the newer version on now and after an hour of working I wish I could just throw them out. Regardless of what you state in a previous comment the quality has changed. I even worked with your customer service who was great at exchanging the socks for 3 different pair but the results are still the same. We are the customers wearing these socks daily and we should know.
If you wish to challenge my review by stating the socks have not changed I will be willing to discuss with you and even mail you a new and old pair and let you and your manufacturer can compare the difference between the two. You will feel for yourself the difference in thickness and quality. Unless some how I ended up with a bad batch, twice.

Point 6 has been my go to sock since 2016 have owned more than one style and just love them

They go on the ends of your legs and keep that part warm

After spending a full day ankle deep in mud on a steep slope assisting in
a rustic log bridge replacement I was happy that I had Point 6 socks on my feet! It was actually double Point 6 as I used the Over the Calf Compression sock as a base under the 37.5 Trekking Heavy Crew. They performed as I'd hoped: no hot spots, warm AND cool enough for our changing work environment. The hike out was totally foot comfortable.
