As a member of the elite Professional Ski Instructors of America's national ski team, point6 founder Peter Duke spent a lot of time in his ski boots and ski socks. He found that his synthetic ski socks created an incredible amount discomfort. His feet were constantly cold, clammy and sweaty.
In his quest to create a better sock solution, Peter discovered the softest, most comfortable merino wool and even created the most successful sock company in the US as a result of his innovative design. This ultra thin ski sock was designed with input from expert bootfitters. Selective light cushioning in heel area and on both sides of achilles tendon provides the ultimate fit. Non-cushioned foot does not interfere with custom fit boots, and anatomical cushion in heel and achilles helps keep foot anchored in boot.
